An Overview
I’ve always prized words. Hoarded them under covers across pages with a flashlight as a small kid, sweating it out under a duvet in the Louisiana heat. It was worth it to write, or read, just one more page.
When I kept gathering up words in college through a Creative Writing degree, I didn’t know where it would lead, just that I wasn’t ready to give them up. If you’d have told me a decade later that they’d make up my day in and day out, I wouldn’t have believed you.
At first, it looked like swiping an employee badge and churning out obscene amounts of B2B content for corporate companies. And while I’m grateful for all it taught me (how does one make software sound sexy?), I’m more grateful to have carved out my own corner of the content world. These days it’s blogging and novel writing that fill my time. Corporate can have it’s sexy software.
Over the years, the one the thing that’s meant as much to me as words is people (and coffee–preferably together). Which is why it’s my hope you find the words you need here, whether they’re a kick in the pants, a push down the right path, or a reminder to keep up the pen-flourishing fight.
I’m so thankful you’re here. I promise I’ll make it worth your while with every word.

“Creative work is not a selfish act or a bid for attention on the part of the actor. It’s a gift to the world and every being in it. Don’t cheat us of your contribution. Give us what you’ve got.”
-Steven Pressfield
